KINGDOM OF ZETELAND

The Republic of Thedo was founded during 2017 although the exact date is unknown as it was never recorded. It was confined to just a bedroom, and only had a flag and a population of one, Fliud Garhart himself at the age of 12. The Republic was inspired from both his friend's micronation, the Independent States of America, and the Republic of Molossia. It was a short lived micronation as it was quietly abandoned as interest faded. In 2022, Fliud Garhart officially disestablished the republic ending the one-man republic.

In 2023, Fliud Garhart would begin to take an interest in micronations again and began the foundations of a new nation, mainly inspired from his friend's micronation still, now called the Grand Republic of Partiam. This time however, instead of just creating a flag and a name, he desired structure in hopes of this nation lasting and growing.

By 29 November, he had designed a flag, begun the creation of a language for the micronation, and chose a name in English and the created language, Zetic. That night, he would write the first constitution for the new nation and officially established the nation on 1 October, 2023. Still contained to his bedroom, he began to look for ways to expand the micronation and by February of the next year would have an apartment for the territory and a population of three. The official name of Zeteland during this era was the Democratic State of Aliteria/Zeteland.

Early into 2024, flaws in the constitution were made apparant as nobody could be elected to the legislature and the president had no power which. This in turn led to the lack of budget limits shoving the young nation into an economic crisis. As debt began to accumulate, Fliud took action by demolishing the democratic state and declared himself king of Zeteland. Higher taxes would be implemented to save the nation. During this ordeal, Zeteland would face it's first citizen fleeing the nation to take refuge in the United States of America. Zeteland faced the verge of collapse during this time and in early 2025, Zeteland would relocate for the final time to it's current region.

After relocation, Zeteland gained new citizens and Fliud wished to grant power back to the people of the nation by transforming the kingdom into a constitutional monarchy. The reformation lasted from March of 2025 to May of the same year when the new constitution was ratified. The new kingdom also saw the introduction of counties and new land additions. With the new constitution though, two new sectors of the government would be created, those being the Ruling Council and Ruling Court. Since the reformation, Zeteland has begun to expand it's infrastructure and technology by introducing identification cards and it's own banknotes, respectively known as Reikscauts.

Zeteland has since grown to be approximately three acres with a current population of 23 and ever growing.
